When you add a virtual machine to a folder, it remains an independent entity, but you can also perform batch power operations. For example you can power on, suspend, and resume each virtual machine in a folder separately, or you can power on, suspend, and resume all of the virtual machines in a folder at the same time.
- If the folder does not already exist, create it.

Create a subfolder Right-click the folder, select New Folder, and type a name for the folder. The new folder appears under the folder in the library.You can create an unlimited number of folders or subfolders.
- To add a virtual machine to a folder, select the virtual machine in the library and drag it to the folder.
