You can edit an existing replication policy to change replication settings allowed at the vCloud Director organization level.

  1. Log in to the vCloud Availability for Cloud-to-Cloud DR portal using System administrator credentials.
  2. Click Policies.

The Policies and Compliance Status page displays.

  3. Select the replication policy that you edit from the list.
  4. Click Edit.

    The Edit Policy wizard displays.

  5. Edit the replication policy settings as needed.
    1. Enter a name for the replication policy.

The replication policy name must be unique and is case-sensitive.

    2. Select whether incoming and outgoing replications are allowed.
    3. Enter the maximum number of replicated virtual machines.
    4. Enter the maximum number of retained snapshots per replication.
    5. Use the Recovery Point Objective (RPO) slider or the time ranges to set minimum allowed RPO.
  6. Click Apply

The replication policy is reconfigured and all new replications belonging to organizations to which the policy is assigned must comply with the new replication policy settings.

If there are conflicts between the edited replication policy and the existing replications, you must resolve the conflicts manually. For more information, see Replication Policy Conflicts.
