Administrating SaltStack Config for your organization

If you are a SaltStack Config administrator, you might need to complete certain administrative tasks before your users can begin working in SaltStack Config. For example, you need to define role-based access controls (RBAC) for your users and assign users to certain roles so that they can access the jobs and targets you define. You might also need to enable single sign-on (SSO) using your organization's preferred SSO provider.

Additionally and if preferred, SaltStack Config administrators can choose to work with the API (RaaS) that the SaltStack Config clients connect to.
