Symptoms

Refer the below table for the issues resolved in this patch for vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager 2.1

Row Summary Symptom
1 Property Definition Captured with global scope is getting released as local scope
  1. Capture a Property Definition with visibility to All Tenants.
  2. Release the captured content into a vRA
2 Capture fails for workflows and actions when the script contains System.getModules with single quotes When action or workflow script contains a reference to the actions using System.getModule and if the action referenced is represented by using single quotes '' then the parsing is failing and in turn capture fails.
3 vROPs dashboard listing fails if there is '&' in the password Today LCM uses an internal UI API to get the dashboard listing by proving a formData. The dashboard listing fails if there is a character '&' present in the user password. LCM unable to generate the securetoken for dashboard listing.
4 vRSLCM Content Capture of Automation-ResourceAction type - Error 500 When capturing an Automation-ResourceAction type with dependencies, the pipeline fail
5 Deploying the automation-software across the tenant throws an error "A Data Integrity Violation has been raised during inserting or updating data","moreInfoUrl":null"
  1. Create multiple tenants in the VRA
  2. Try to capture the content from any VRA endpoint
  3. Deploy the automation-software content across the tenant inside the same VRA
6 vRSLCM Deploy dynamictype resource action is successful in LCM, but not imported to VRA While capturing resource action with dependencies the downloaded resource action file is getting deleted from lcm. So when releasing that content the resoruce action is not visible at the target vRA.
7 Component Profiles not being release into VRA if there is underscore in the value set name Capturing the component profile values with "_" in the name is not downloading the file but the capture version is shown as successful. if that version is tried to release no component profile will be released.
8  XaaSBlueprints are corrupted in VRA after deployed through LCM. When vRA content are released the forms of resource actions, xaas blueprints of previously existing content in vRA are getting modified.
9 merge option in source control is not working when you perform capture and check-in in one shot While selecting a merge option for source controlling a package when the user perform capture and check-in in one shot. The operation is check-in the custom package instead of uber package.
10 Bitbucket failed to check-in with a file name having '{' character Whenever we will have '{' and '}' characters while performing bitbucket check-in. Checkin will fail
11 Transferring Property Group via vRSLM from staging to production changes visibility from "All tenants" to "This tenant."
  1. Capture a Property Definition with visibility to All Tenants.
  2. Release the captured content into a vRA
12 bitbucket - Unable to capture/deploy from branch other than default branch
  • Check-in a new content to feature branch
  • Perform check-out/deploy from the same brach and it fails
13 vRA Deployment is failing at DEM and Proxy Agent Certificate Installation when component level certificate is used. When Proxy and Dem are installed in a separate new windows machine, the certificate installation task will fail with, "vRA Certificate Configuration Failed." error message.
14 Unable to select license keys (from the drop down menu) when creating a new environment Unable to select license keys from vRealize Suite, due to a change in the product description format for vRS (PLU) licenses.
