What's New

VMware vRealize Operations Management Pack for Cloud Director Availability 1.2 introduces preconfigured alerts for cloud site health issues and for Recovery Point Objective (RPO) violations in vApp or virtual machine replications. By default, the alerts are not included in any policy and are deactivated. Version 1.2 also supports vApp template replications metrics.

In vRealize Operations, you can now see the health metrics of the cloud sites and the replications on the new preconfigured dashboard.

VMware vRealize Operation Management Pack for Cloud Director Availability 1.2 includes several resolved issues, updates of third-party libraries that provide security fixes, and interoperability updates.

Upgrade

To upgrade to the latest version of VMware vRealize Operations Management Pack for Cloud Director Availability, in vRealize Operations Manager, install the .pak file with version 1.2. In the Add Solution wizard, on the Select Solution page, select the Reset the Default Content check box.

Resolved Issues

• Storage policy modification on active incoming replications interrupts replication data collection

  For all previous versions of the management pack, after modifying a storage policy associated with an incoming replication, for example, deleting the storage policy then creating the replication, stops all replication data from being collected.
