The Management Pack for HPE ProLiant creates Resource Kinds and Relationships (associations) for critical resources in your HPE ProLiant environment.

Resource Kinds

Performance, health, and availability data are collected for the following HPE ProLiant resource kinds:

  • HPE Enclosure
  • HPE Blade (Server)
  • HPE Network Adapter
  • HPE Port
  • HPE Rack (Server)
  • HPE Power Supply
  • HPE Fan
  • HPE Interconnect
  • HPE Interconnect Port

Relationships

Relationships among discovered resources are also created by the Management Pack. The hierarchical structure of those relationships is depicted in the diagram below.

External Relationships

In addition to external relationships to the VMware virtual layer, the Management Pack for HPE ProLiant can discover an external relationship to Cisco Nexus switches for True Visibility Suite customers who are also using the Management Pack for Cisco Networking.
