Creating a Credential (Nagios XI)

One of the required configuration tasks for the Management Pack is to create a set of credentials in vROps.

Prerequisites

• Installing the Management Pack (Nagios XI)

Procedure

1. Click the Administration  icon, In the left panel, select Credentials.
2. Click the Add  icon. In the Manage Credential window that appears, enter the following information:
   
   
   

Results

• Credential name: A name for this set of credentials
• User Name: User name created using the Nagios XI interface
• API Key:User-specific API Key generated using the Nagios XI interface (For assistance, see Customer Support's How to Obtain Nagios API Key knowledge article.)
