The Management Pack for NetApp HCI & SolidFire creates Resource Kinds and Relationships (associations) for critical resources in your NetApp HCI/SolidFire environment.
Resource Kinds
Performance, health, and availability data are collected for the following NetApp HCI/SolidFire resource kinds:
- Cluster
- Storage Container
- Storage Node
- Volume
- VVOL
Relationships
Relationships among discovered resources are also created by the Management Pack, which are depicted in the diagram below.
NetApp HCI & SolidFire Relationships Diagram
External Relationships
The Management Pack for NetApp HCI & SolidFire can discover the following external relationships:
- VMware Datastore > Volume
- VMware Virtual Machine > VVOL
- Cluster > Host System (ESXi Host)*
Note: * If using the management pack for SolidFire (not HCI), the Cluster > Host System relationship will
not be available.
