The Management Pack for Network creates Resource Kinds and Relationships (associations) for critical resources in your Network environment.
Resource Kinds
Performance, health, and availability data are collected for the following Networking resource kinds:
- Networking Device
- Networking Device Interface
Relationships
Relationships among discovered resources are also created by the Management Pack. The hierarchical structure of those relationships are depicted in the diagrams below.

The Management Pack for Network includes the following external relationships.

Host System → Networking Device
Note: LLDP or CDP are used to create this relationship. As such, LLDP or CDP must be enabled on the Host System and connected device in order to discover this relationship.
