The vROps Management Pack for Oracle Database pulls Oracle Database health indicators and displays them in vRealize Operations as alerts. The critical levels of each alert are closely mapped from Oracle Database to vROps. See the table below for the list of alerts available in the Management Pack.

Archive Logging Disabled Archive logging is currently disabled. All databases should run in archive log mode. Enable archive logging.
Database Flashback Disabled Database flashback is currently disabled. Database flashback is a useful facility for rapid recovery following a user error and should be enabled.
Controlfile Has Less Than 2 Copies There are currently less than 2 copies of the controlfile. Create another copy of the controlfile.
Some Online Logfiles Have Less Than 2 Copies There are currently less than 2 copies for some of the online logfiles. Ensure that every online logfile has more than one copy.
Valid Archive Logfile Has Less Than 2 Copies There are currently less than 2 copies of the valid archive logfile. Recoverability may be compromised if archive logfiles are damaged. Create another copy of the valid archive logfile.
Fast Recovery Area Not Configured The fast recovery area is currently not configured. Use of the fast recovery area simplifies many operations. Configure this feature.
Oracle Managed Files Not Configured Oracle Managed Files are currently not configured. Use of Oracle Managed Files simplifies many operations. Configure this feature.
Fast Recovery Area Reusable Space Low The fast recovery area resuable space is starting to get low. The fast recovery area must have sufficient reusable space. Please increase the total size.
Processes Are Nearing Limit There number of processes are currently nearing the total limit. Sessions will fail if the process limit is hit. Increase the limit for processes.
Sessions Are Nearing Limit There number of sessions are currently nearing the total limit. Logins will begin to fail if the session limit is hit. Increase the limit for sessions.
RMAN Backups Not Run Often Enough RMAN backups are currently not being run often enough. Make sure that RMAN backups are being run at least once a day.
High Average Read Time The average read is higher than normal Average read time should be < 1ms.
High CPU Usage The CPU Usage is currently high.
High Executions Per Second The number of executions per second on this instance is very high.
High Physical Read I/O Requests The number of physical read I/O requests per second on this instance is very high.
High User Calls Per Second The number of user calls per second on this instance is very high.
High Redos Generated The number of redos generated per second on this instance is very high.
