The Management Pack for SolarWinds NPM creates Resource Kinds and Relationships (associations) for critical resources in your SolarWinds environment.
Resource Kinds
Performance, health, and availability data are collected for the following SolarWinds NPM resource kinds:
- Fibre Channel (FC) Unit
- FC Port
- FC Sensor
- Node
- Interface (rolled into Nodes)
- VLAN Node
- VSAN
- Wireless Access Point
- Wireless Controller
- Wireless Client
Relationships
Relationships among discovered resources are also created by the Management Pack. The hierarchical structure of those relationships is depicted in the diagram below.

The Management Pack for SolarWinds NPM includes the following external relationships. Note that True Visibility Suite customers who are also using the Management Packs for Cisco UCS and/or Cisco Networking can discover relationships between management packs.
