vSphere clusters that are activated with vSphere with Tanzu are called Supervisors. After you subscribe your vCenter Server to vSphere+, you can monitor Supervisors from the VMware Cloud Console. You can view details such as the vSphere Namespaces, configuration status, and Kubernetes endpoint of each Supervisor without logging in to the vSphere Client.

You can also initiate the Supervisor activation from the VMware Cloud Console, which redirects you to the vSphere Client where you can complete the activation process.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the VMware Cloud Console at https://vmc.vmware.com.
  2. On the left navigation panel, select Inventory.
  3. Select a vCenter Server for which you want to monitor Supervisors, and click the Supervisors tab.
  4. To initiate Supervisor activation, click Activate Supervisor.
You are redirected to the vSphere Client where you can complete the activation process. For more information, see the vSphere with Tanzu documentation.
