For vCenter Cloud Gateway, there are specific hardware, software, and network requirements. Before you install vCenter Cloud Gateway, ensure that your vSphere environment meets all the requirements.

vSphere Requirements

For vCenter Cloud Gateway, there are certain vCenter Server and cluster requirements. See Prepare Your vSphere Environment.

Browser Requirements

  • Google Chrome 89 or later
  • Mozilla Firefox 80 or later
  • Microsoft Edge 90 or later
Note: Later versions of these browsers are likely to work, but have not been tested.

Network Latency and Bandwidth Requirements

  • Latency: Less than 100 ms
  • Bandwidth: 100 Mbps

Port Requirements

To ensure that vCenter Cloud Gateway and your vCenter Server communicate with each other, the following firewall ports must be open.
