You can replace a cluster member that is no longer working or is offline due to a failure.
The status of a VSA cluster member must be Offline so that you can replace it.
- In the vSphere Web Client, select the datacenter that accommodates the VSA cluster, click the Manage tab, and click VSA Manager.
- On the Summary tab, select the Appliances view.
- Right-click the VSA cluster member whose status is Offline and click Replace Appliance.
The Replace Appliance wizard appears.
- On the Select Appliance page, select the vSphere Storage Appliance whose status is Offline, and click Next.
