When you enable IGMP or MLD multicast snooping on a vSphere Distributed Switch 6.0, you can edit the maximum number of IP sources from which the members of a multicast group receive packets.
Procedure
- In the vSphere Web Client, navigate to the host.
- On the Configure tab, expand System and select Advanced System Settings.
- To edit the number of source IP addresses, locate the Net.IGMPV3MaxSrcIPNum or Net.MLDV2MaxSrcIPNum system setting .
- Click Edit and enter a new value between 1 and 32 for the setting.
- Click OK.
