Rename a Fault Domain

You can change the name of an existing fault domain in your Virtual SAN cluster.

Procedure

1. Navigate to the Virtual SAN cluster in the vSphere Web Client.
2. Click the Configure tab.
3. Under vSAN, click Fault Domains and Stretched Cluster.
4. Select the fault domain that you want to rename and click the Rename selected fault domain icon ().
5. Enter a new fault domain name.
6. Click OK.
   The new name appears in the list of fault domains.
