When you no longer need a fault domain, you can remove it from the vSAN cluster.
Procedure
- Navigate to the vSAN cluster.
- Click the Configure tab.
- Under vSAN, click Fault Domains.
Option Description vSphere Client - Click the Actions icon on the right side of the fault domain, and choose Delete.
- Click Delete to confirm.
vSphere Web Client - Select the fault domain that you want to delete and click the Remove selected fault domains icon ().
- Click Yes to confirm.
