Configure an Existing Instance of vRealize Operations Manager in vCenter Server

You can use this option to configure an existing instance of vRealize Operations Manager 6.7.

Prerequisites

Verify that you have an existing instance of vRealize Operations Manager 6.7.

Procedure

1. From the vSphere Client HTML5 user interface, click Menu > vRealize Operations.
2. Click Configure Existing Instance.
3. Enter the instance FQDN IP address and provide the user credentials of the vRealize Operations Manager instance and click Test Connection.
4. Click Next.
5. Enter the vCenter Server 6.7 IP address and user credentials and click Test Connection.

   You must enter the IP address of the vCenter Server 6.7 instance from which you carry out operations.

6. Click Next.
7. Review the summary and click Configure.
