Remove a Virtual Switch Port Group in the VMware Host Client
You can remove port groups from virtual switches in case you no longer need the associated labeled networks.
Prerequisites
Verify that there are no VMkernel NICs and no powered-on virtual machines connected to the port group that you want to remove.
Procedure
- Click Networking in the VMware Host Client inventory and click the Port groups tab.
- Right-click the port group that you want to remove and select Remove from the pop-up menu.
- To remove the port group, click Remove.
- (Optional) Click Refresh to verify that you have removed the port group.
