How to Provide Feedback with Your vSphere Client

Use the improved feedback tool in the vSphere Client to provide timely feedback to our developers.

Procedure

  1. From the vSphere Client home screen, click the feedback icon in the top right corner.
  2. Select the type of feedback you want to give and enter your feedback in the Description window.
  3. (Optional) Provide an email address and screenshots or other images.
  4. Click Send.

How to Use the vSphere Ideas Portal to Submit Suggestions for New Features and Feature Requests

Learn how to provide suggestions for new vSphere features or share feature requests through the vSphere Ideas portal. All users with valid Broadcom Support Portal accounts can access the portal.

The vSphere Ideas portal is public. When you publish new ideas and feature requests, consider whether you want to share personal data.

You can access the vSphere Ideas portal at https://vsphere.ideas.aha.io/ by entering a valid Broadcom Support Portal user name and password.

Alternatively, you can access the vSphere Ideas portal by using the vSphere Client.

Prerequisites

Verify that you have a valid Broadcom Support Portal account.

Procedure

  1. On the vSphere Client home page, click the feedback icon in the top-right corner.
  2. In the Send Feedback dialog box, click Idea.
  3. Click Visit ideas portal.
  4. On the Broadcom Support Portal login page, enter a valid user name and password.
    You are redirected to https://vsphere.ideas.aha.io/ .
  5. On the vSphere Ideas portal home page, click Add a new idea.
  6. On the Add a new idea page, enter the details about your idea and click Share idea.

Results

Your idea appears in the Recent tab. All users of the vSphere Ideas portal can view, subscribe, vote, and comment on your idea.
