Association With VIX API Errors

The Virtual Disk API shares many errors with the VIX API, which explains the VIX prefix. The error codes for VIX API were similar to a comparable release of VDDK. However VIX API was deprecated and its documentation is no longer available. Most VIX errors are similar to the C language errno.h header file, so you can deduce their meaning from standard Linux documentation.
