Configure the Supervisor to use a proxy so that you can pull the Supervisor Services through the proxy and deploy them.

Prerequisites

  • Verify that you have upgraded vCenter Server to version vSphere 8.0 Update 3.
  • Verify that you have upgraded the Supervisor version to 1.28.
  • Verify that you have the Namespaces.Manage privilege on the Supervisor where you add the service.

Procedure

  1. From the vSphere Client home menu, select Workload Management.
  2. Click the Supervisors tab and select a Supervisor from the list.
  3. Click the Configure tab and click Network.
  4. Select Proxy Configuration and click Edit.
  5. In the Edit Proxy Configuration window, configure the proxy settings.
    1. In Proxy Configuration Source, select Configure proxy settings on Supervisor. Select this option to override proxy configuration inherited from vCenter Server when the Supervisor is on a different subnet than vCenter Server, if you require to configure a different proxy, or if the proxy server uses custom CA bundles.
    2. In TLS Certificate provide the certificate.
    3. Enter the hosts and IP addresses that must be excluded from the proxy.
  6. Click OK.
