You can change rules that collect product consumption data for your customers if the rule needs to point to a different location in your vCenter Server inventory. To change a rule, you must delete it and then construct a replacement rule.


Before deleting a rule, note any details you plan to reinstate.


  1. Cick Rules in the top right menu bar of the Web application.
  2. Click the Rules List tab to view the existing rules.
