To access vCloud Usage Meter, use predetermined TCP ports. If you manage network components from outside a firewall, you might need to configure the firewall to allow access on the appropriate ports.

The following TCP ports are required:

443 vCloud Usage Meter vCenter Server vSphere API. If default value does not work, you can change it.
443 vCloud Usage Meter *.vmware.com Used for sending reports to VMware.
25 vCloud Usage Meter SMTP server Used for sending reports to VMware.
636 vCloud Usage Meter LDAP server Network communication.
7444 vCloud Usage Meter Single Sign-On server Single Sign-On API. If default value does not work, you can change it.
8443 Client browser vCloud Usage Meter Used for the Web application.
9003 Jconsole or custom JMX client vCloud Usage Meter Used for Java Management Extensions (JMX).
