You can configure vCloud Usage Meter to report usage of vRealize Operations Manager and NSX as standalone and not part of a bundle. These report types are useful for end-user reporting.

Procedure

  1. Click Manage in the top right menu bar of the Web application.
  2. Click the Reports tab.
  3. If directed to by the VMware Cloud Provider Program, you can set the Per-VM Memory Cap.
  4. Select the check boxes for vRealize Operations Manager and NSX if you want to report the usage as standalone and not as part of a bundle.

    If you select any of the check boxes, the selected feature usage is metered as standalone and not as part of a bundle in the Monthly Usage Report and Customer Monthly Usage Report, if there is an associated rule for such VMs.

    Report NSX Enterprise usage as standalone

    When selected, NSX Enterprise features usage is metered and reported as standalone and not as part of a bundle. As an example result, the Monthly Usage Units Report consists of the following:

    • VMware NSX Enterprise

    • VMware vCloud SP Advanced Bundle

    Report vRealize Operations Manager Enterprise usage as standalone

    When selected, vRealize Operations Manager Enterprise features usage is metered and reported as standalone and not as part of a bundle. As an example result, the Monthly Usage Units Report consists of the following:

    • VMware vRealize Operations Manager Enterprise (managed)

    • VMware vCloud SP Advanced Bundle

  5. Click Save.
