Build information settings determine how a machine is provisioned.


  1. Click the Build Information tab.
  2. Select Clone from the Action drop-down menu.
  3. Select vAppCloneWorkflow from the Provisioning workflow drop-down menu.
  4. Click the Browse icon next to the Clone from text box.
  5. Select a template to clone.

    Blueprint Type

    Available Templates


    The list includes all templates for all reservations. No validation is available to ensure that the template you select exists in the reservation used to provision a machine from this blueprint.

    Local (you selected a business group for the blueprint)

    You only see templates that exist on reservations for the business group you selected.

  6. (Optional) Click the Edit icon (edit icon) next to the component blueprint to clone.
  7. Click the drop-down arrow in the Components text box and select a blueprint.
  8. Click the Save icon (save icon).
  9. Select Allow user to specify reservation type.

    Use this option if multiple allocation types are available in the business group.

  10. (Optional) Specify the lease settings for provisioned machines, or leave blank for no expiration date.
    1. Enter the minimum number of lease days in the Minimum text box.

      If you only provide a minimum, this number becomes the value for all machines provisioned from this blueprint.

    2. (Optional) Enter the maximum number of lease days in the Maximum text box to allow users to select their own settings within the range that you provide.
