The total cost trend displays the total cost for the last twelve months based on the cost in the bill, irrespective of when the account was added into vRealize Business for Cloud.
Total Cost - The graph displays the total estimated monthly cost of all Amazon Web Services accounts configured in vRealize Business for Cloud. And also, you can see the monthly cost trend.
Services - This graph displays the estimated cost distributed among different services across all accounts.
Accounts - This graph displays the estimated cost percentage for each account.
Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) Cost Breakup - This graph displays the cost distribution of EC2 service. EC2 service cost includes reserved model cost, demand model cost (PAYG), and other cost that is not perceived in the bill.
Largest Changes in Accounts -This graph displays the top three cost changes compared to cost in the previous month.
VM at a Glance - This graph displays the total virtual machine count and average cost per month. It also displays the virtual machine count based on power status whether stopped, running or terminated, number of virtual machines in each state, and the cost of virtual machines in each state.
The projected expense for public cloud and vCloud Air is calculated by using the following equation:
Projected cost = A + (B * n), where,
A is the total cost till date,
B is the cost of previous day and
n is the remaining number of days for the current month.
