You can use the vRealize Business for Cloud Web console to configure vRealize Business for Cloud appliance with vRealize Automation.
Procedure
- Log in to the vRealize Business for Cloud Web console at https://vRealize_Business_for_Cloud_IP_address:5480.
- On the Registration tab, select vRA.
- Enter the credentials to register with vRealize Automation server.

Hostname |
Type the host name or IP address of the vRealize Automation virtual appliance.
Note: If your
vRealize Automation deployment uses load balancer, you must enter the IP address of the load balancer.
vRealize Business for Cloud supports NSX and F5 load balancers.

SSO Default Tenant |
Type the SSO default tenant name that you have defined while configuring your vRealize Automation virtual appliance. |
SSO Admin User |
Type the administrator user name that you have defined while configuring your vRealize Automation virtual appliance.
Note: Enter only the user name without the domain name such as
@vSphere.com.

SSO Admin Password |
Type the administrator password that you have defined while configuring your vRealize Automation virtual appliance. |
- Register vRealize Business for Cloud with vRealize Automation.

If you are registering for the first time or if vRealize Automation certificate has changed |
- Click Register. Registration fails and displays the Failed to register with vRealize Automation message.
- (Optional) Click the View "vRealize Automation" certificate link.
- Click Accept vRealize Automation certificate check box.
- Click Register.

If you had already registered with vRealize Automation |
- Click Register.

If all the parameters are correct, the
Registered with vRealize Automation server message appears.
Note: If you change the certificate of
vRealize Automation, you need to again register
vRealize Business for Cloud with
vRealize Automation.
