When you upgrade a 6.2.5 vRealize Automation appliance to the current release, you must update the vRealize Automation appliance components in a specific order. Use the tasks in the checklist to track your work.

Before you upgrade, you must perform the prerequisites and migrate your artifacts. See Prerequisites for Upgrading the Appliance.

Caution:

You must follow the prescribed order when you upgrade the components, and you must upgrade all components. If you use a different order, the upgrade fails or behaves unexpectedly.

For information about supported upgrade paths, see Considerations to Upgrade vRealize Code Stream.
