vRealize Log Insight Upgrade Path

The upgrade path to follow depends on which version of vRealize Log Insight is installed and the version you are upgrading to.

You can upgrade vRealize Log Insight to version 8.8 from 8.6.x, to 8.4 from 8.3 or 8.2, and to 8.1 from 4.8 or 8.0. Upgrades to the rest of the versions must be done incrementally. For example, to upgrade from version 8.1 to 8.3, you apply the 8.2 upgrade to 8.1 and then upgrade from 8.2 to 8.3. You must upgrade to each intermediate release.
