You might need to add virtual memory to keep the vRealize Operations process running.

When the vRealize Operations virtual machine requests more memory than is available, the Linux kernel might kill the vcops-analytics process, and the product might become unresponsive. If that happens, use the reservation feature in vSphere to specify the guaranteed minimum memory allocation for vRealize Operations virtual machines.

Procedure

  1. In the vSphere Client inventory, right-click the vRealize Operations virtual machine and select Edit Settings.
  2. Click the Resources tab, and select Memory.
  3. Use the Reservation option to allocate more memory.
