VMware Cloud on AWS provides infrastructure as a service. It uses the scale and flexibility of the public cloud, while providing private cloud like operating environment. To manage your VMware Cloud on AWS instances in vRealize Operations, you must configure a cloud account.

You can configure the following types of VMware Cloud on AWS endpoints in vRealize Operations:

• Commercial Cloud Endpoint
• Government Cloud Endpoint
