After you create a cluster, you can monitor the states of the cluster nodes and take further actions to keep the nodes synchronized.

You can check the configuration synchronization states of the Orchestrator instances that are joined in a cluster from the Orchestrator Node Settings tab of the Orchestrator Cluster Management page.

Important:

Control Center reports the state of the local node compared to the other nodes in the cluster.

Configuration Synchronization State

Local Node

Remote Node

Synchronized

The configuration of the local node did not change from the last restart.

The configuration of the remote node is the same as the configuration of the local node.

Pending restart

The configuration of the local node changed or was replicated from the remote node. The Orchestrator server service is restarted to apply the pending configuration.

The configuration of the remote node is synchronized with the local node but is not applied. The Orchestrator server service is restarted to apply the pending configuration.

A configuration synchronization is required

N/A

The active configuration of the remote node is different from the active configuration of the local node.

The Control Center of the node is not available

N/A

The Control Center service (vco-configurator) of the remote node is stopped or not reachable. The synchronization state cannot be retrieved.

Not available. Local node is missing

The local node is not in the list of cluster nodes. The synchronization state of the local node cannot be retrieved.
