For vRealize Automation, the disaster recovery can be mainly divided in two parts, disaster recovery for vRealize Automation components and related services and disaster recovery for vRealize Automation managed VMs.
You may want to protect vRealize Automation components and its related services, vRealize Automation managed VMs, or both. Host renaming is not supported as part of the disaster recovery.
Note: Disaster-recovery scenarios are not supported by
vRealize Automation 8.0. Performing the disaster-recovery procedure might result in a non-functional
vRealize Automation environment. The latest supported version of
vRealize Automation is 7.6 and all 7.6 hotfix releases.
