You should start up the VMs for vRealize Suite components in a specific order.

Depending on the vRealize Suite components that you have backed up, restore your vRealize Suite components in the specified order. If you have taken any snapshots, you must remove the snapshots before you restore.

  1. vRealize Automation. Start up the vRealize Automation components in the following order:

    1. MS SQL

    2. PostgreSQL, if applicable

    3. vRealize Automation Appliances

    4. Websites

    5. Manager Services

    6. DEM vRealize Orchestrator

    7. DEM Workers

    8. Proxy Agents

  2. vRealize Automation 8.x. All nodes can start at the same time.

  3. vRealize Orchestrator. All nodes can start at the same time.

  4. vRealize Operations Manager. All nodes can start at the same time.

  5. vRealize Log Insight. Start up the primary node, followed by VMs with the worker nodes in any order.

  6. vRealize Business. Start up the VM for vRealize Business.
