Restore vRealize Automation 8.x in an Isolated Environment

A system administrator can use backups to restore vRealize Automation in an environment that is isolated from other networks.

Prerequisites

• Verify that the environment has a DNS server with identical zones and records to the production server.
• Verify that the vRealize Automation virtual appliance or appliances were restored and configured to use the isolated network.
• Restore the VMware Identity Manager with the same IP address and DNS name and configure the VM to use the isolated network.
