You should start up the VMs for VMware Aria Suite components in a specific order.

Depending on the VMware Aria Suite components that you have backed up, restore your VMware Aria Suite components in the specified order. If you have taken any snapshots, you must remove the snapshots before you restore.

VMware Aria Suite Overall Startup Order
  1. VMware Aria Automation. Start up the VMware Aria Automation components in the following order:

    1. MS SQL

    2. PostgreSQL, if applicable

    3. VMware Aria Automation Appliances

    4. Websites

    5. Manager Services

    6. DEM VMware Automation Orchestrator

    7. DEM Workers

    8. Proxy Agents

  2. VMware Aria Automation 8.x. All nodes can start at the same time.

  3. VMware Automation Orchestrator. All nodes can start at the same time.

  4. VMware Aria Operations . All nodes can start at the same time.

  5. VMware Aria Operations for Logs. Start up the primary node, followed by VMs with the worker nodes in any order.

  6. vRealize Business. Start up the VM for vRealize Business.
