The replication enters Error state when you remove and add disks to the source VM

The issue occurs when automatic inclusion of new disks is activated.

Problem

If you edit the settings of the VM and both remove one of the disks and add а new disk in a single task, the replication might go into Error state.

Solution

• Workaround 1: Reconfigure the replication manually in the Site Recovery UI.
• Workaround 2: When you modify the VM, add and remove new disks with two separated tasks
