Aggiornare host Ubuntu

Se l'host Ubuntu non è supportato, aggiornarlo manualmente alla versione supportata.

Prerequisiti

Verificare che l'host Ubuntu sia supportato. Vedere Percorsi di aggiornamento supportati.

Ubuntu richiede che le seguenti dipendenze per il pacchetto LCP e i componenti host funzionino correttamente.

libunwind8, libgflags2v5, libgoogle-perftools4, traceroute, python3, python-mako, python-simplejson, python-unittest2, python-yaml, python-netaddr, libprotobuf9v5, libboost-chrono1.58.0, libgoogle-glog0v5, dkms, libboost-date-time1.58.0, libleveldb1v5, libsnappy1v5, python-gevent, python-protobuf, ieee-data, libyaml-0-2, python-linecache2, python-traceback2, libtcmalloc-minimal4, python-greenlet, python-markupsafe, libboost-program-options1.58.0, libelf-dev

Procedura

1. Seguire le istruzioni disponibili sul sito Web di Ubuntu per aggiornare l'host. Riavviare l'host KVM Ubuntu al termine del processo di aggiornamento.
2. Se è presente un host KVM Ubuntu come nodo di trasporto, eseguire il backup del file /etc/network/interfaces.
3. Scaricare il modulo kernel NSX per Ubuntu x.x.
4. Installare il modulo kernel NSX.

   tar -xvf <path_to_kernel_module_file> 
   cd <folder_extracted_from_previous_step> 
   sudo dpkg -i *.deb 
   dpkg –i | grep nsx
