Per preparare un server bare metal come nodo dell'infrastruttura, è necessario installare alcuni pacchetti di terze parti.

Prerequisiti

  • Verificare che l'utente che esegue l'installazione disponga delle autorizzazioni amministrative necessarie per eseguire le seguenti azioni, alcune delle quali potrebbero richiedere autorizzazioni sudo:

    • Scaricare e decomprimere il bundle.

    • Eseguire i comandi dpkg o rpm per installare/disinstallare i componenti di NSX.

    • Eseguire il comando nsxcli per l'esecuzione dei comandi del piano di gestione di unione.

  • Verificare che i pacchetti di virtualizzazione siano installati.
    • RedHat, CentOS o Oracle Linux - yum install libvirt-libs
    • Ubuntu - apt-get install libvirt0
    • Oracle Linux - rpm-qa | grep xxx
    • SUSE - zypper install libvirt-libs

  • In Ubuntu eseguire apt-get install <package_name> per installare i pacchetti di terze parti.
