ESXi ホストで GuestStore リポジトリを構成すると、VMware Tools コマンド ライン ユーティリティを使用して GuestStore リポジトリのリソースに簡単にアクセスできます。
VMware Tools ツールボックス コマンド ライン ユーティリティを使用して、GuestStore リポジトリからリソース コンテンツを取得できます。

/usr/bin/vmware-toolbox-cmd gueststore getcontent <resource path> <output file>
ここで、<resource path> は、GuestStore リポジトリ データストアのルート URL の下のパスです。
たとえば、

ゲスト管理者は、次の tools.conf 設定を使用して、GuestStore リポジトリへのアクセスを制御できます。[guestStore]
disabled = false（デフォルトでは、ESXi ホスト側で構成すると GuestStore リポジトリへのアクセスが有効になります）
adminOnly = false（デフォルトでは、GuestStore リポジトリにアクセスするために管理者権限は必要ありません）
disabled = true の場合、VMware Tools GuestStore ベースのアップグレードや GlobalConf 機能など、GuestStore リポジトリへのすべてのゲスト アクセスが無効になります。
