Platform Services Controllerの廃止

vCenter ServerAppliance にアップグレードした後は、外部の Platform Services Controller インスタンスを廃止できます。

外部 Platform Services Controllerノードを vCenter Server Appliance に統合したら、元の外部Platform Services Controller を廃止します。Platform Services Controllerは、廃止するとシャットダウンされ、Single Sign-On ドメインから削除されます。

前提条件

廃止する前に、Platform Services Controllerを参照する vCenter Server インスタンスがないことを確認してください。

Platform Services Controllerを使用する環境にデプロイされた任意の製品を、新たにデプロイされた vCenter Server Appliance を使用するように再設定します。

廃止する前に Platform Services Controllerのバックアップを作成し、データの損失がないようにします。

外部の Platform Services Controller Appliance の廃止

外部の Platform Services Controller アプライアンスを廃止して、vSphere インベントリから削除します。

外部 Platform Services Controller ノードを vCenter Server Appliance に統合したら、元の外部 Platform Services Controller を廃止します。Platform Services Controller は、廃止するとシャットダウンされ、Single Sign-On ドメインから削除されます。

前提条件

廃止する前に、Platform Services Controller を参照する vCenter Server インスタンスがないことを確認してください。

Platform Services Controller を使用する環境にデプロイされた任意の製品を、新たにデプロイされた vCenter Server Appliance を使用するように再設定します。

廃止する前に Platform Services Controller のバックアップを作成し、データの損失がないようにします。

手順

1. 不要になった Platform Services Controller を停止します。
2. ドメイン内にあるいずれかの Platform Services Controller Appliance のアプライアンス シェルに root としてログインします。
3. shell.set --enabled true コマンドを使用して、Bash シェルへのアクセスを有効にします。
4. shell コマンドを使用して Bash シェルを起動し、ログインします。
5. cmsso-util unregister コマンドを使用して、停止した Platform Services Controller Appliance を登録解除します。

   ここで、Platform_Services_Controller_System は、廃止対象である

   Platform Services Controller の FQDN または IP アドレスです。同期すると、エントリが他のすべての Platform Services Controller レプリケーション パートナーから削除されるため、このコマンドは、 Platform Services Controller レプリケーション パートナーの 1 つを対象に実行します。 vCenter_Single_Sign_On_password を引用符で囲んで入力します。

   注： cmsso-util unregister コマンドによって、サービスがコマンドを実行している Platform Services Controller で再起動されます。コマンドが完了するまで数分かかる場合があります。

   cmsso-util unregister --node-pnid Platform_Services_Controller_System --username administrator@your_domain_name --passwd 'vCenter_Single_Sign_On_password'

6. vSphere インベントリから不要になった Platform Services Controller Appliance を削除します。

次のタスク

廃止された Platform Services Controller の仮想マシンは削除できます。

新しい vCenter Server Appliance に外部のソリューションや製品が登録されているかどうかを確認します。

外部の Windows 用 Platform Server Controller の廃止

vSphere インベントリから外部の Windows 用 Platform Services Controllerを廃止して削除します。
