您可以透過內嵌式 Platform Services Controller 或外部 Platform Services Controller 設定 vCenter HA 環境。如果決定使用外部 Platform Services Controller，您可以將其置於負載平衡器後，以在 Platform Services Controller 發生故障時提供保護。

含內嵌式 Platform Services Controller 的 vCenter HA

使用含內嵌式 Platform Services Controller 的 vCenter HA 時，環境設定如下所示。

  1. 使用者透過內嵌式 Platform Services Controller 佈建 vCenter Server Appliance。
  2. 系統將 vCenter Server Appliance 複製到新被動和見證節點。
    • 使用 vSphere Client 時，請使用設定 vCenter HA 精靈來建立並設定複製品。
    • 如果您使用自動組態，用戶端會建立並設定複製品。
    • 在手動組態中，使用者會建立並設定複製品。
  3. 在複製程序過程中，Platform Services Controller 及其所有服務會一併複製。
  4. 完成組態後，vCenter HA 會執行複寫以確保被動節點與主動節點同步。主動節點到被動節點的複寫包括 Platform Services Controller 資料。
  5. 完成組態後，vCenter Server Appliance 即受 vCenter HA 保護。如果發生容錯移轉，Platform Services Controller 及其所有服務會在被動節點上可用。

含外部 Platform Services Controller 的 vCenter HA

使用含外部 Platform Services Controller 的 vCenter HA 時，您必須設定外部負載平衡器才能保護 Platform Services Controller。如果一個 Platform Services Controller 無法使用，負載平衡器會將 vCenter Server Appliance 導向到不同的 Platform Services Controller。

  1. 使用者設定至少兩個外部 Platform Services Controller 執行個體。這些執行個體會複寫 vCenter Single Sign-On 資訊和其他 Platform Services Controller 資訊 (例如授權)。
  2. 在佈建 vCenter Server Appliance 期間，使用者選取外部 Platform Services Controller。
  3. 使用者設定 vCenter Server Appliance 以指向為 Platform Services Controller 提供高可用性的負載平衡器。
  4. 使用者或自動組態複製第一個 vCenter Server Appliance，以建立被動節點和見證節點。
  5. 在複製程序過程中，外部 Platform Services Controller 和負載平衡器的相關資訊會一併複製。
  6. 完成組態後，vCenter Server Appliance 即受 vCenter HA 保護。
  7. 如果 Platform Services Controller 執行個體無法使用，負載平衡器會將驗證和其他服務的要求重新導向到第二個 Platform Services Controller 執行個體。
