Create Users and Assign Roles

You can create users and assign roles to provide role based access for Application Transformer for VMware Tanzu features.

You can create new users and assign them the any roles, except ROOT.

Prerequisites

Ensure that you have the required permissions. For more information, see Overview Application Transformer for VMware Tanzu Roles.

Procedure

1. Navigate to the top right corner and click on the user name.
2. Go to Administration > Users and Roles.
3. Create users and assign a role.

Results

After successful creation of a new user, it will be listed in the Users page.

What to do next

You can share the new user details to log into Application Transformer for VMware Tanzu. If a user tries to log in with the new user, Application Transformer for VMware Tanzu prompts to change the password.
