Using a credential policy, you can assign the credentials to multiple VMs quickly.
An association policy consists of a credential and its association rules, which is a combination of criteria.
An association rule contain values like:
- VM MoID
- VM name or regex
- vCenter name
- Datacenter name
- Cluster name
- VM tags
- VM folder name
Note:
- You can define multiple rules for a credential.
- While associating a policy, Application Transformer for VMware Tanzu validates the credentials by accessing the matched VMs.
