You can replace existing common process discovery agent files with the custom configuration file.

Prerequisites

Prepare a Custom CPDA.

Procedure

  1. Create a zip file containing all scripts with one initial bash script to start the process discovery agent.
  2. Click Discovery from the main menu.
  3. On the left navigation page, go to Settings > Component Signatures.
  4. Click Process Discovery > Add New Configurations.
    You see the options to upload your CPDA for Linux or Windows.
  5. Click Choose File to upload Linux process discovery agent zip and update the init script name.
  6. Update the VM working directory.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Click Choose File to upload Windows process discovery agent zip and update the init script name.
  9. Update the VM working directory.
  10. Click Submit to update process discovery configurations.
  11. To reset the configurations,
    • Click Process Discovery > Reset Linux Process Identifier
    • Click Process Discovery > Reset Windows Process Identifier
