Update and Delete Credentials

When you change the credentials of a resource, you must update them in Application Transformer for VMware Tanzu. And also, if you have the credentials without an association to a resource, you can delete them.

Prerequisites

Ensure that you have the required permissions. For more information, see Overview Application Transformer for VMware Tanzu Roles.

Procedure

1. Click Discovery from the main menu.
2. On the left navigation section, go to Settings > Credentials.
3. To edit the credentials:
   1. Select an account from the table.
   2. Click Edit.
   3. Update the credential details.
      Note: Even if you do not intent to update the password, you must re-enter the assigned password.
   4. Click Save.
      You can see the updated credentials in the table.
4. To delete the credentials:
   1. Select an account from the table.
   2. Click Delete and click Yes to confirm deletion.
      Note: If a credential is associated to a resource, you cannot remove the credentials. To remove the credential, you must first assign a new credential to the resource.
      You do not see the account in the table.
