You can create a support bundle that collects all the available log files for discovery, component scan, containerization, appliance update, telemetry, embedded harbor. When you raise a support request, VMware Technical Support uses this information to troubleshoot your setup issues.

Prerequisites

Ensure that you have the required permissions. For more information, see Overview Application Transformer for VMware Tanzu Roles.

Procedure

  1. Click Discovery from the main menu.
  2. On the left navigation pane, expand Activity and select Support Bundle.
  3. Click Create Support Bundle.
    This generates support bundle tar.gz file and new support bundle details in the table, which you can download.
  4. Select the support bundle entry in the table, and click Download.

What to do next

  • Extract the bundle to view the logs.
  • Attach the support bundle to your service request for VMware to access the logs.
