Troubleshoot Routing Issues

You are experiencing routing issues in your environment and want to check the configuration of the routes that are used by the logical router.

Problem

Traffic is not being routed from one logical network to a different logical network.

Cause

The configuration on the logical router may not contain rules for routing traffic between networks.

Prerequisites

You have installed the VMware NSX 6.2 system in your environment.

Solution

1. In the NSX-vSphere Troubleshooting dashboard, in the Objects widget, select a logical router.
2. In the Data Collection Results widget, select Show runtime state for host from the Choose Action drop-down menu, and click Run Action.
   The configured routing rules for the DLR along with the routing rules that are active on the selected host are displayed in the Data Collection Results widget.
