VMware Aria Automation supports plug-in based Amazon Web Services (AWS) resources. You can provision plug-in based EC2 instances, volumes, and more. The AWS account that you use with classic resources can also be used to provide plug-in based resources.
You can also run several day 2 operations on your resources, such as power on, power off, and delete.
Note: You can deploy resources in all regions regardless of the ones specified in the cloud account. These are taken into account only when using allocation helpers.
You provision plug-in based AWS resources using Automation Assembler templates, and you deploy those templates in the typical manner using the Automation Assembler Design tab functionality. After you deploy a template, you can check your AWS Management Console to confirm that the resource was provisioned successfully.
